An unusual domaine in the foothills of the Cévennes, at the edge of the Faugères area. The low-yielding, 50 year old vines are hand-harvested and their fruit makes robust, spicy wines. The vines are planted in rows that follow the contours of the steep hillsides, thus avoiding erosion of the ancient schist and sandstone soil. The red wines are powerful yet elegant,while the rosés boast a certain complexity and finesse. No synthetic chemical products such as weedkiller or insecticide are used, and the preservation of the garrigue scrubland and embankments between the vineyards encourages the area's flora and fauna.
