This estate's vines are planted on two distinct soil types, namely clay-limestone at Causses-et-Veyran and schist at Roquebrun. Michel Guiraud's family has been managing Boissezon Guiraud since 1830, and it was his grandfather who planted the vast majority of the vines in 1900. The grapes from each plot are carefully sorted and used to make a specific wine.
