An 18-hectare domaine where 80% of the vines are Syrah, and the grapes are harvested when fully ripe. The gravity-fed winery was built into the hillside over three levels, allowing the fruit (and wine) to move from one stage to the next, without the use of complex machinery. The wines made here have great structure, and pair very well with with spicy cuisine. One of them - named Maghani - is a tribute to Omar Khayyam, the medieval Persian poet who sang the praises of wine.
