JC Martin (œnologue), PF Comps.
In 1870 an ancestor of the Comps family came down from the Caroux mountain and cleared a plot of land amongst the rocky scrubland. Pierre Comps sold his first bottles of AOC Saint-Chinian wine in 1995, and the family has continued this tradition in Puisserguier ever since. Their cuvée “Le Soleiller” regularly features in the Guide Hachette and has even been served in Paris at the Assemblée Nationale. The tasting room features paintings by local artists and curiosities such as a dinosaur egg found in the vineyards.
